How Much Is My Face Worth?

This tag has been circulating around for a some time now and I decided that it'd be something interesting to find out about myself lol. Surprisingly, I'm not particularly shocked or dumb-founded at the tallied up price even though it is quite a big amount because I feel like there is a decent amount of products that I use regularly. For my usual everyday (school) routine, I only use the products shown in the first photo. On good days (when I'm going out with friends and have more time in my hands to spare) I practically use all the products shown in both pictures (the exception would be the choice in blush colour). The only/main difference between my good days and lazy days are 1) I wear liquid eyeliner + falsies and line my lower lash line with a brown pencil liner instead of just lining my eyes with a gel eyeliner on my upper lash line; 2) I wear contacts instead of my nerdy glasses.

Some weird things that you may find in my routine(s):

1) Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you, yes, I use two eyebrow mascaras/gels. The purpose of eyebrow gels/mascaras are suppose to colour in your hairs so it blends in with the colour you have filled in. For me, Lavshuca is too brown and ELF doesn't always lighten my eyebrows enough depending if I was more heavy handed that day. Using the Lavshuca over the ELF one gives me the colour I want after I filling in my eyebrows. :)

2) I use a pencil eyeliner underneath a gel eyeliner or liquid eyeliner. Being a monolid, it speeds up the process of lining my eyes because I get the thickness I want and then I seal it with gel or liquid eyeliner for longevity.

3) The NYX eyeshadow palette isn't actually used to its full potential. I don't wear eyeshadow on a regular basis....I only use the darkest shade in the palette to fill in my eyebrows.

4) I don't use the foundation brush to apply foundation - I dip it into powder to set my under eye concealer. I find that the shape of the foundation brush fits perfectly underneath the eyes. Tap, tap and you're done!

5) No lip products shown cause I'm too darn lazy to reapply any makeup throughout the day. I do use chapstick, but that's usually part of my night time routine so I wake up with nice moisturized soft lips and don't need it during the day (unless my lips are really dehydrated and flakey).

Once You Start Touching, You Can't Go Back

One of the worst ideas that I come up with when I need to kill a bit of time is walking into the drugstore thinking that I'll only browse for 10 minutes, and then walk out and be on my way to wherever I need to go, emptied handed. Uhmm...yea no. lol. And of course, when you spot those flashy red sale tags on products you've been eyeing for the longest time, you know things are settled and no explanations are needed. Every purchase is now justified.

Maybelline The Falsies Black Drama mascara (waterproof) - $4.93 (original price ~$8.99). Honestly I don't even know how many tubes of The Falsies I've gone through. I know mascaras are a controversial product but this one works well for the necessities of my pathetic short stick straight asian lashes. The new mascaras that have come out on the market recently haven't really sparked my interest to make a change  from my usual to try it out.

Revlon Lip Butters - $6.97 (original price ~$9.99+). The two other shades that I've been eyeing for a while from the Lip Butters line is Tutti Frutti and Peach Parfait. From swatches, I really envy other girls with less pigmented lips....I really wanted to like Peach Parfait but unfortunately it just appears to be a splash of glitter particles on my lips that aren't something I'm too fond of for lipsticks. It's not too bad because from afar it looks like gloss but it's an paranoia and annoyance if I know lol. As for Tutti Frutti, it's all within good expectations - a cute pigmented and bright coral/orange shade. I also considered getting Lollipop or a red one but I didn't know which one to pick (Red Velvet, Cherry Tart or Candy Apple) - suggestions anyone? :P

Wet n' Wild Color Icon Palette in Comfort Zone - $3.99. This is not on sale but why would you need one? The original price is already a bargain! Initially, when this first came out I decided not to get it because I thought I didn't *need* it. But being a total sucker to reading a lot of your guys's beauty blogs and the incredibly convincing posts from Sleepandwater and Cherie I caved in when I saw it on the shelf. The shade that I find most unique and eye catching is the definer shade in the bottom right column; the duochrome effect is something I just drool all over for since it's not commonly seen. The eyeshadows are pigmented, soft and buttery as expected since I own two other (older) color icon palettes.

Hi Kitten, it's Creme Puff

First off, I want to apologize for the lack of updates and posts but I'll try to get back on track this month since everything is starting to settle down. This semester has been one of those small yet progressive stages in life for me. It's tough and I'm only half way through, but I feel extremely grateful for all the wonderful people and new things that have walked into my life and changing it for the better.

Anyways, yes, it's another photoshoot! Out of all things that happened in October, this was something more exciting and I looked forward to it the most because it was my first time being a stylist and set assistant in addition to being a filler model. YAY! Unfortunately, I, derpina was being derpy at it's best - the Halloween house party that I attended the night before was not one of the best choices I've made in terms of being responsible for the following events. sigh. I promise to be 120% awesome next time instead of 40% lol.

So yeahhh, as a stylist for the shoot my responsibilities involved playing Nyan Cat and Checkers on the Ipad! LOL.....not. I had a massive headache that day and I cannot apologize enough for slacking! If you're reading this, I'm going to apologize again. I'm so sorry Jason! I promise to make it up to you lol. :S

An inspiration photo that I used to do my own makeup for the shoot! If you guys are
interested in this look, let me know and I'll do a tutorial on it? (I used the Naked2 Palette)

Natalie is amazingly gorgeous! *_*
(i'm having a small fan girl moment right here lol)

This is my favourite! <3

I know this is a really awkward transition from Natalie's amazingly gorgeousness to my random pikachu derpyness but we have to switch somewhere right? hahaha. Did you guys dress up for Halloween this year? I want to know!
